Chat & FAQ appearance
Choose independent looks for your assistant and your published answers.
Customize the chat
- Open Appearance in your chatbot.
- Choose a chat template: Sunny, Mint, Sky, Ink. All are available on the free plan.
- Choose Chat tile, Speech bubble or Ask us button. Set the Invitation text and choose Bottom left or Bottom right.
- Use the preview to check your welcome message and launcher. Choose Save appearance.
Choose a FAQ theme
- In Appearance, find FAQ theme.
- Choose Google-inspired, Minimal, Bold RankChat, Dark. Every theme is available on all plans.
- Expand a preview question, then choose Save appearance.
- Your hosted FAQ, live FAQ embed and optional own-domain FAQ use the saved theme. If you use Copy HTML, copy and replace your old HTML to apply the new look.
Good to know. FAQ appearance is separate from your chat template and launcher. Existing FAQ displays keep their previous appearance until you choose a FAQ theme. You can try the four themes on RankChat’s own FAQ page.
Logo previews
Choose logo allows a local preview of a PNG, JPG or WebP under 2 MB. Header corner, CTA bubble and CTA button show possible placement.
These logos are previews only: they are not saved or embedded on your website. Do not rely on a logo preview as published branding.
